Alpha Medical Contractors (AMC) is a medical practice that provides health care solutions for its patients and partners. Alpha Medical Contractors was formed in 2007 to provide assistance to MD practices by utilizing nurse practitioners as independent contractors.

In 2008, AMC began to offer house call visits to residents in independent, assisted, and memory care facilities. As we age, it becomes more difficult to leave your home for services, including for MD appointments. This service has been such a benefit to seniors.

AMC has partnered with many facilities throughout the metro Atlanta area to provide in-house primary care services to their residents.

In 2016, we added business-to-business services, including DOT services. Many employees and truck drivers spend many hours waiting to get a DOT physical, drug screen, or BAT (breath and alcohol testing). This is why we provide on-site services. AMC will come to your company and provide DOT and non-DOT physicals, DOT and non-DOT drug screens, and BAT.

In 2018, AMC started a caregiving agency called Alpha Personal Care. The agency was established because of the growing need to provide assistance to seniors as they age. The population of seniors will continue to grow, and the need for personal care assistance will continue to grow as well. Our caregivers are certified nursing assistants and provide exceptional, professional care. Alpha Personal Care provides services to residents in the metro Atlanta area.

In 2021, AMC began providing telemedicine visits. After 2020 and the COVID pandemic, the field of medicine had to adjust to the new reality of healthcare. People have become more comfortable with receiving assessments and treatment on the computer. This is why AMC added telemedicine to our list of services. Our goal is to expand our telemedicine practice to include more states. This will allow us to give more care to those who are homebound or in rural areas.
